What We Did
Project Overview
Here we were asked to design a new raised decking area leading to a lower paved entertaining and sitting patio to link together the quite different levels of the house and garden on this sunny side of the property.
We used a Millboard composite decking in light oak colour with a glass balustrade to form the upper areas, porcelain tile paving for the lower paved circle for ease of maintenance, and Derbyshire gritstone walls with clay paver edgings and cappings to form low raised planted beds around the perimeter of the paved circle. The use of the circular design gives this area a strong identity and softens the hard edges of the building.
