Courtyard for a new apartment

A new development in which one of the apartments has an internal courtyard as their primary outside space. We were approached to bring light and greenery into this space which we did by laying light coloured porcelain tiles, on the walls fixing mirrors and slatted screens and installing a glass balustrade in place of a brick parapet wall. We also designed and installed overhead colour change lighting so that the general light levels can be increased on darker days and in the evenings along with low level spread lighting and access spots on the planted areas. A large water bowl brings the sound of water into the courtyard space.
