What We Did
Project Overview
This house had a large sloping lawn and an uninteresting terrace at the back of the house. We were asked to design an entertaining/eating area at the back of the house with feature olive trees and garden lighting, and to replace the sloping lawn with artificial turf and Scottish pebbles to leave no regular maintenance requirement.
We used a mixture of black basalt and silver granite pavings with a quartzite feature walling detail, and a glass balustrade system to guard the change in level without interrupting the view.
The odd shaped plot was a challenge to work with and some of the foundation walls were over two metres deep to allow us to lift the garden levels.
